As we work, play and sleep, in the skies far above our planet, eyes are watching our planet’s oceans, recording changes in temperature, salinity, chemistry and plant life, to help scientists understand our changing environment.


Part of a series of CG renders of the Jason-3 satellite, created for EUMETSAT for use in the online and printed communications related to the satellite launch, the image has also been used extensively in the communications material of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) of France.
