The science of weather, climate and environment is complex and often dense with jargon and technical detail.  I took a visual approach when developing this website, placing the focus on imagery, to appeal to the scientific media and the interested layman.

In designing this site, I conducted stakeholder interviews, desktop research and organised focus groups with identified audiences, observing their interactions with iterative functional prototypes, to reduce development time and costs.

This website was commissioned by the European organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) and took three months to conceive, develop and launch.

During its lifetime, the EUMETSAT Science Blog received an average of 12k visits per week.
