Chaotic and increasingly unpredictable, Earth’s weather patterns are changing as the global climate warms, bringing more frequent, severe storms to some areas and drought to others, all of which is visible from space.
This visualisation shows global weather patterns throughout 2018, highlighting the major storms and climactic events that occurred.
Working with meteorological scientists, I designed, developed and produced the visualisation, using data from meteorological satellites above Europe, the US and Asia.
